READ ALL THE WORDS! This is a pattern from Made by Gootie and Loophole Fox. It was a free Crochet-a-Long in the fall of 2024, and is available on their blogs. Parts 1 - 6 https://theloopholefox.com/crochet-blanket-pattern-cal/ Parts 7-12 https://madebygootie.com/crochet/tranquility-blanket-free-crochet-pattern/ We strongly encourage everyone to buy the pattern e-book so you can easily refer to it as you work. We will not be giving out any written instructions and, while Kim has filmed her own tutorials for each section, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCESSING DETAILED PATTERN INSTRUCTION ON YOUR OWN. Here is where you can buy the Pattern E-book for $15.99 US. https://madebygootie.thrivecart.com/tranquility-blanket-ebook/ Each pattern panel has it’s own skill level and all 12 panels range from Confident Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. About this blanket: - The pattern has two size options - Throw (12 panels, 50x60” approx finished size) and Lapgan (10 panels, 40x50” approx finished size) FOR 2026 WE WILL BE MAKING THE LAPGAN. If you want to make all 12 panels I will give you a good price for the extra yarn and proved help when needed with the patterns. - The blanket is made using 4 colours - three for the body, and the fourth for the border and transition rows between panels Class structure for 2026: - There will be 11 classroom sessions - Week one you will learn how to make a chainless foundation and the first pattern via a swatch. - Weeks 2 - 9 you will learn the new pattern via a swatch. - We break for Spring Break (NO CLASSES MARCH 17 & 24) - Week 10 & 11 - we will go over panel 10, show you the Moss Stitch Border, and have time to work/show off. Yarn and Yardage Requirements: - The sample blanket used Estelle Worsted. This is a blend of 50% acrylic, 40% wool, and 10% nylon and is an incredibly soft and squishy yarn. - If you have a wool allergy/sensitivity Cascade Anthem, a 100% acrylic yarn, is a great alternative. - Please see the attached images for yardage requirements and links to colour options. **As many of you know, yardage is directly associated with tension and as such the provided amounts may or may not meet your needs. - You are welcome to use your own yarn Additional Supplies needed: - 5.00mm Crochet hook (or one to reach gauge/desired tension) - Stitch markers - Tapestry needle - Scissors

Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
