Crocheted Market Bags

There are a TON of patterns online for bags in all shapes and sizes. I have personally made several and use them all the time. I am always on the look out for new and unique styles and/or stitches which is where the patterns for this class came about. We will be spending the bulk of the first 3 weeks making the Laurel Tote by Blue Feather Crochet and in the time remaining, will learn the incredibly beautiful Circle Leaf stitch for the Circle Leaf Market Bag from Briana K Designs. Both patterns call for a worsted weight cotton yarn and we will be using Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton for both. If you choose to bring your own yarn, please note that both patterns give yarn substitutions and try to choose one of those. If you 'go rogue' (which we always encourage here at Knot Just Yarn) you take full responsibility for the end result as different yarn substitutions will result in different final outcomes. What is included in your registration fee? - four 2.5-hour teaching sessions - free entry to WIP nights that occur during the running of the class series - 9 balls of 24/7 Cotton (if you choose the FULL CLASS option at check out) Colours will be chosen after registration - see attached images for current available colours. Yarn amounts are based on what the designer has stipulated in their pattern. The exact amount required for YOU to make these bags will depend on your tension and whether you care about and/or meet recommended gauge. **PLEASE NOTE: at time of publishing, I have not completed either bag sample so can not speak to exact size of the finished bags or amount of yarn used. Other items you will need: - Each student is required to purchase or otherwise access each pattern. If you show me proof of purchase I will happily print your pattern and bring it to the first class.
