Service Description

Want a quick and easy project to give an instant face lift to your table scapes? Looking for a beautiful hand made gift for the holidays? We got you covered with this airy table runner made out of cotton yarn. Choose a festive colour and use it to dress up your Holiday Dinner Table, or make it out of a neutral and use it give your hall table a face lift. Or choose a colour your bestie likes and gift it to them for Christmas. Whichever way you slice it, this project will turn heads. This versatile pattern can be made to fit any table and looks just as good in a solid colour or colour changing yarn, making each runner as unique as the person making it. **Crochet knowledge is a must to attend this class, but anyone who knows how to make single and double crochet stitches, and count their stitches can make this table runner. The sample has been made with Noble Cotton which is a DK or 3 Weight mercerized cotton. This makes it perfect for situations that may get messy. It will wash up easily on a cold cycle and can be tumble dried on low. We are including 3 hanks of your choice of Noble Cotton (see images on this page for available colours) which is enough to make a table runner approximately 4.5'x1.5'. Should you wish to make your runner wider or longer, the pattern will include the instructions to do so. You may also substitute your own stash yarn if you wish. Please be sure to use the hook size called for on your yarn label and know that your runner will be a different size. And be aware that if you plan to place hot or wet items on your runner, 100% cotton yarn is the only yarn we recommend. (Acrylics may melt if hot items are placed on them, and other types of yarn may stain or leave water marks on wooden tables.) There are two class times assigned to this project. The first one will teach the pattern and allow you to work up enough of the repeat to get comfortable with it. The second is a working night. Come for some dedicated time to work on the runner, and with any questions or issues if you have them. Included in your class fee: - 3 hanks of Noble Cotton. Please see attached images for my available colours. - written pattern Also needed for this class: - 5.00mm crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge you're comfortable with) - scissors - stitch markers (optional but always recommended) - yarn needle

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
