Service Description

Mistakes are inevitable, but often fixable! You don’t always have to start over. In this workshop, you'll learn how to recognize, prevent, and fix common knitting mistakes, so you can save time and stress when you’re knitting. Through hands-on practice, video demonstrations, and interactive worksheets, we’ll cover: 1 - Spotting and preventing twisted stitches 2 - Using lifelines to safely unravel only what you need 3 - Picking up dropped stitches 4 - Laddering down to fix errors in previous rows 5 - Un-knitting to correct mistakes in the same row By the end of the class, you'll have the skills to troubleshoot and repair your knitting with ease! Supplies to bring: - Scraps of worsted weight yarn. You can use up some of your leftover anthem worsted yarn from beginners knitting. - Knitting needles: size US 8, or whatever you usually use with worsted weight yarn. (Tight knitters may want to use a larger size like 9 or 10. Loose knitters may want to use a smaller size like 7 or 6) Straight needles or circular needles are both fine options. - A crochet hook in the same size as your knitting needles or smaller. - Locking/unlocking stitch markers, darning needle, and scissors.

Upcoming Sessions

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
