While this may look complicated, this pillow is made with double crochet stitches so anyone who knows how to single and double crochet and can read a pattern, can take this class. We will teach you how to turn your double crochet stitches into the fun Berry Stitches that give such a fun texture to this pillow. Kim made this pillow using Lion Brand Heartland yarn - a worsted weight acrylic yarn in the colours Dry Tortugas and Kings Canyon (green). Alison will not be ordering any more yarn from Lion Brand so once her stock is depleted, it'll come off the website. Currently she has plenty for this class. Please see attached images for her current stock. Our workhorse yarn, Cascade Anthem, would be a great alternative. This class runs over 3 weeks . What you need to have to complete your pillow: - the pattern from Lulee's Crochet which you can find on Etsy (search for Pretty Pines Throw Pillow) or Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pretty-pines-throw-pillow ** We will happily print your pattern in colour but you need to show proof of purchase first - a 5.5mm and 3.5mm hook - Worsted weight yarn in two colours. You need approximately 440 yards of the main colour, and approximately 70 yards of the tree colour. - scissors - a yarn needle to weave in your ends - straight pins or stitch markers (for lining up your back panels when assembling) - 14" square pillow insert (Buy this after you've finished your pillow so you can accurately size it as your tension may be different from the pattern designer's and Kim's so you made need a different size insert.)
