Service Description
Join Alison and Fiona as they teach a new crochet and knitting pattern each month. There are so many fun stitch patterns out there but sometimes it's hard to know where to start, or which patterns would look good for different types of projects. In this new monthly series, we aim to answer some of your questions when it comes to trying new patterns. Alison will be teaching the crocheters and Fiona will be guiding the knitters. Your $10 fee includes that instruction plus a printed pattern and video tutorial that will be emailed to you after class. If you know you'd like to do all 12 washcloths, you have the option to buy the Washcloth Punch card/subscription which gives you 2 FREE months. Details at check out. We will be featuring a DK (size 3) weight, mercerized cotton - Cascade Noble Cotton. This is a beautiful, sturdy yet light weight, cotton that comes in a ton of solid colours as well as fun hand dyed and tie dyed versions. We will be starting with the solid colours to allow you to get used to the yarn. I will try to accommodate your request. These come in hanks and I will happily wind your orders into usable cakes as long as your order is placed at least 24 hours prior to the class. You will need to provide your own yarn and if you choose to use something other than Noble Cotton, you will need to make sure you have the correct hook or needle size for the yarn you are using. As we are making washcloths, we DO NOT recommend using anything other than a 100% cotton yarn. For the Noble Cotton, the recommended crochet hook size 4.50mm and knitting needle size is US size 6 or 4.00mm At time of publishing the March stitch patterns are not set but this event will be updated with photos once we have them. Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
