Service Description
Designed to be easy enough for our new 1.0 Graduates, yet with enough interest that anyone who knows how to crochet can enjoy making. The Waffle Stitch Blanket is our most popular blanket class! In this class you will learn the easy two row repeat stitch pattern and over the course of 6 weeks, have plenty of time to finish your lap blanket. There are three class times spaced two weeks apart which gives you plenty of time to work as well as opportunities to ask questions. In the first class you will learn the pattern and have time to get comfortable with it. You will also be shown how to make a colour change and attach a new ball of yarn. That way you can continue on at your own speed with all the skills you need. In the second class you will have the opportunity to review anything you may be having trouble with and show off your progress. The last class is a combination "show off your blanket" and working night. And just to be clear, there is NO pressure to finish in the 6 weeks! Instructor: Alison Day using the materials created by Kim Yoshihara (who will be rooting everyone on from Japan!) What your class fee includes: -12 balls of Anthem 4weight yarn (a $96 value!) in your choice of colours - instructions for choosing colours will be emailed to you after registration is confirmed - Full written instructions - Video tutorial - Free access to any WIP Wednesdays that fall during the running of this class What you need to have to complete your blanket: - a 5.00mm hook - scissors - a yarn needle to weave in your ends - optional: a tape measure to check guage or if you are trying to make your blanket to a specific size The sample blanket is approximately 42"x36" and used 12 balls in 3 colours (Charcoal, Nimbus Cloud, and Denim). If you would like to make a larger blanket, please reach out so we can suggest how many extra balls of Anthem you should purchase.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
