Service Description
NEW for Fall 2026, these sessions are designed for those looking to fill their days with meaningful events. Similar to our Wednesday evening drop-ins, this is time dedicated to working on your current project. We understand how hard it is to 'find the time' to work on personal hobbies. We understand that knitting and crocheting can feel like 'solo' pursuits. We understand the frustration when even reading all the words doesn't help if a pattern just doesn't make sense to you. Come for support. Come for the socialization. Come for the community. Stay for the treats! That's right, every week we will have coffee and tea available plus a homemade treat. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or sensitivities in the registration form. As these sessions are held in Alison's home there are some things you need to know. 1 - Yes, you may shop my garage! Fair warning, it's a bit ... stuffed, so please ask for help or let me know ahead of time what you're looking for and I can pull out some options for you. 2 - Need hanks of yarn wound into cakes? I can do that while you stitch. Just ask. 3 - My husband is retired now and will likely be home and ... at loose ends. Sigh. 4 - Last but not least, and this is a big one (literally) - we have a dog. A very large, overly friendly lab named Scout. He can be confined to our family room (he will whine about it) if anyone has a huge issue with him saying hello and sticking his nose into your project bag, palm, lap, etc. However, there WILL be hair everywhere despite efforts to control it.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
