Wednesday WIP Nights
A social evening to devote to your works in progress.
Service Description
Looking for a more relaxed environment to put in some work on a current WIP (Work In Progress) or get help on class homework? These nights are for you! Space is limited - registration is capped at 12. Alison will be there with Kim (crochet) and Fiona (knitting) popping in when they can to help with your questions. Housekeeping items - PLEASE READ (especially if this is your first time coming): - we meet in Kim's basement (the address will be emailed with your registration confirmation) - be respectful of parking - DO NOT block any driveways or park in the middle of a lawn. Allow space for residents to also park in front of their homes. - Kim has a reactive dog who will be barred from accessing the stairs and foyer but there WILL be dog hair in the space (we try but ... IYKYK) - there is a bathroom for your use - this is a intended to be a time for you to relax so please feel free to bring snacks and/or beverages of your choice. In case you didn't know, I have an online yarn shop designed to both support our class offerings, and give you a place to shop locally for yarn for your next project. I have a lot of it on display in the classroom. You are welcome to look at it, touch it, read the labels, and ask questions, but I ask you to place an order with me for pick up at a later date rather than buy from the shelves. There are order sheets for that purpose. That way everyone can see ALL the yarn in ALL the colours I carry ALL the time. Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to class. Our classes are very popular and our instructors have already put in many hours of their time prepping each class before we even post them for registration. To respect their time, expertise, and efforts, we ask if you must cancel your entire class registration that you do so at your earliest convenience. Any cancellation requests that are made less than 24 hours before the start of the first class in a series of classes, or after a course has started, or within 24 hours of a workshop/event will not be granted. Cancellation requests made with more than 24 hours notice of the start of the class or event will be processed at our earliest convenience less a 10% admin fee. If you have registered for a course and find you need to miss one or more of the class dates, alternate arrangements can be made to allow you to catch up. These may include but are not restricted to: emailed course materials like hand outs or instructional videos; one-on-one private instruction time to be arranged between you and the instructor (should the instructor offer such services); or free entry to a drop-in session should any happen to fall withing the scope of the class timeline.
